Adam Patrick DeVine (born November 7, 1983) is an American comedian, writer, producer, actor, and voice actor. He is a star and creator of the Comedy Central series Workaholics and Adam DeVine's House Party. He also plays Bumper Allen in Pitch Perfect and its 2015 sequel.
Adam is the voice of Boone.
Early life[]
DeVine was born in Waterloo, Iowa, to Dennis and Penny DeVine. He graduated from Millard South High School in Omaha, Nebraska in 2002. He attended Orange Coast College along with friend and fellow cast member Blake Anderson. He studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, and later moved to Los Angeles where he began working as a stand up comedian and actor. In June 1995, when he was 11 years old, he was hit by a 42-ton cement truck while walking his bike across the street, resulting in multiple fractures to both his legs that required multiple surgeries over three years; it took two years for him to learn to walk again.
